On May 7, Merlin Entertainments, which operates Legolandand resort theme parks, announced that Legoland Shanghai Resort will officially open to visitors on July 5.

Located in Fengjing Town of Jinshan district, the resort is the world's largest Legoland. It is designed for families with children aged two to 12.
